Dr. P was born and raised in Sri Lanka and inherited his grandparents love of animals. He graduated from the University of Peradeniya Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation he was awarded a rotating clinicianship in companion animal medicine and surgery at Veterinary Teaching Hospital, University of Peradeniya. He then moved to Canada and obtained his PhD in Animal Sciences and taught pre-vet students at University of British Columbia. Dr. P went on to complete certifications from American and Canadian Veterinary Medical Associations and practicing in Canada and California for the past six years as a small animal veterinarian. His professional interests include emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Dr.Pratheeb enjoys playing tennis, badminton, spending time with family and writing poems on his leisure time.

Dr. Manoja had a passion for animals since her early childhood days. She obtained her degree in veterinary medicine in 2005. Dr. Manoja continued her career by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Reproductive and Developmental sciences in 2010 at University of British Columbia, Canada. She has been a practicing veterinarian in North America for the past six years after completing certifications with ECFVG, American Veterinary Medical Association and working at multiple practices in the Sacramento area as a companion animal veterinarian. Small animal dentistry and internal medicine are her special interest areas in veterinary medicine and she loves educating her clients in detail.

Dr. Erin Paster graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001, completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Michigan Veterinary Specialists, and a surgical internship at Veterinary Specialists of Rochester, in New York. She then pursued a post doctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where she ran the PennHIP clinic and pursued research interests in PennHIP screening, hip dysplasia and orthopedic disease.

Dr. Erin Paster graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001, completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Michigan Veterinary Specialists, and a surgical internship at Veterinary Specialists of Rochester, in New York. She then pursued a post doctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where she ran the PennHIP clinic and pursued research interests in PennHIP screening, hip dysplasia and orthopedic disease. She co-authored journal articles from the Nestle- Purina life-long study in Labrador retrievers. Dr. Paster’s surgical residency training was completed at UC Davis in 2008, and she became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2009. Her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery for critical patients, small exotic animal surgery and orthopedics, especially for sporting dog breeds. Dr. Paster’s personal interests include the outdoors, fishing, rock hounding, gardening, studio art, and eating, especially Wisconsin cheese. She lives with her husband and son, their enthusiastic Doberman Pinscher and German Shorthaired Pointer, and a cat.

Dr. Le-Nguyen graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at UC Davis. Being a general practitioner at local veterinary hospitals, over the years, Dr. Le-Nguyen acquired a special interest in dentistry, soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.

Dr. Le-Nguyen graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at UC Davis. Being a general practitioner at local veterinary hospitals, over the years, Dr. Le-Nguyen acquired a special interest in dentistry, soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.
Upon seeing pets not being able to get the surgeries they need due to pet owner financial constraints, Dr. Le-Nguyen sets out to receive specialized continued education and surgery training. He participates and collaborates with other surgeons and colleagues to hone in on these surgical skills–using the most up to date techniques and standards.
Today, Dr. Le-Nguyen is a veterinarian who is able to provide his surgery services not only in Sacramento, but in surrounding cities. He is able to offer these surgeries to pet owners and local shelters who would otherwise be unable to afford these surprise emergency and complex surgery costs. Pets are getting the treatments they need to live healthier lives and shelter pets are given a second chance as candidates to find a new home.
